Congratulations on your purchase of Nextar?s M3-06 GPS unit. As mentioned during the airing, part of the incredible value you will receive with the purchase of the M3-06 is one free mapping upgrade.
Continuous construction and development invariably results in some road changes and additions and mapping data is continuously being updated to reflect such. Your M3-06 is equipped with the most recent mapping data available. The next generation of mapping data will be available on July 1, 2009. There will not be any upgrades available prior to July 1, 2009. Should you desire to upgrade your map data at that time or thereafter, Nextar will do so free of charge (sans shipping and handling).
Please follow the steps listed below if and when you desire to get your M3-06 upgrades:
- Registration: Please visit Nextar Product Registration and complete the form on this site
- Please prepare and mail-in (No COD?s Accepted) the following materials to the address listed below:
- The SD card currently in your M3-06. (The SD card is located on the side of your M3-06 and can be removed by compressing it until it pops out.)
- Your original QVC receipt.
- The original UPC Code from the M3-06 display box.
- A check in the amount of $20.00 to cover shipping and handling made payable to Nextar.
- Return name and address.
Upon receipt of the above, Nextar will send a new upgraded SD card that you should insert into your M3-06 as follows:
(Please note that your M3-06?s navigation functions will be in-operable while the SD card has been removed).
