IMPORTANT REBATE INFORMATION - Rebate Notification
Dear Valued Nextar Customer,
Continental Promotion Group ("CPG"), the company that was responsible for processing rebate/refund claims for Nextar consumer electronic products filed bankruptcy on November 14, 2008.
Nextar remains financially strong and healthy, and is not a part of this bankruptcy. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, the funds Nextar provided to CPG are apparently no longer available to satisfy the rebate/refund checks CPG issued to Nextar's customers. Nextar apologizes for any inconvenience and is working to promptly remedy the situation.
Please be assured that Nextar guarantees its programs and will make sure that all rebates/refunds tied up by CPG's bankruptcy are promptly paid. If you recently received a Nextar check from CPG, please do not cash it, as it may not clear due to CPG's bankruptcy. Instead, we request that you take the following actions:
- If you are holding or receive a rebate/refund check for a Nextar product, and it is dated on or before November 14, 2008, please do not cash the check. Please look for updated postings at www.nextar.com on or around December 1, 2008 for further instruction on how to exchange your check for a new check.
- If you have not mailed your rebate claim materials, please do not mail them until you receive further instruction. Please look for updated postings at www.nextar.com on or about December 1, 2008 for further instruction on where to mail your rebate claim material.
Again we apologize for any inconvenience and are committed to ensuring that you receive your rebate/refund as soon as possible. Please check our web site early December for further instructions.
